Mission

Provide Sustainable Water Treatment programs promoting system efficiency through the minimization of scale, deposits, corrosion, and microbiological contamination. The goal being to preserve asset value, minimize energy and water consumption, reduce maintenance cost and downtime, and achieve optimal heat transfer. Our objective includes treatment and testing to minimize health risk in the environment impacted by water evaporation and cooling tower drift.

Meet The Team

Jennifer Hofstad

CWT Owner/Sales Manager

With over 20 years of water treatment experience, Jennifer provides sales and service for all types of industrial water systems. Her clientele includes mechanical contractors, industrial plants, data centers, hospitals, office buildings and schools with notable expertise in textile mills and air washer systems.

John Hofstad

CWT Owner/Technical Manager

With over 30 years of water treatment experience, John began his career as a chemist then advanced into technical support, product design, operations management, and regulatory compliance. He provides service and support for all types of industrial and commercial water systems including boilers, cooling towers, chillers, and process systems, with notable expertise in injection molding.

Cassie Rillo

Office Manager

After graduating with a degree in business and marketing, Cassie joined Sustainable Water Treatment as our office manager. She is responsible for managing warehouse deliveries and handles the accounts payable and accounts receivable duties. She specializes in marketing campaigns and promotion for the company. Very detail oriented and artistic, she works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep us in business and make sure everything runs smoothly.

Ed Sandoval

NC Service Representative

Ed Sandoval joined the Sustainable Water Treatment team in 2023. He brings a great measure of mechanical know-how and the ability to quickly learn the science behind industrial water treatment and the required testing to ensure systems are properly maintained. He is also proficient in new equipment installations, special projects and troubleshooting which enable him to provide full-service water treatment for boilers and cooling towers.

Antonio Harris

NC Service Representative

Antonio Harris came onboard with SWT in the Spring of 2024. After serving in the US Army, he earned a degree from Guilford Technical Community College. Moving into industry, he gained proficiency as a CNC Machine Operator as well as experience as a team leader in warehouse logistics for several major companies. He is dedicated to learning the complex field of water treatment and brings hard work and dedication to our company.

The Association of Water Technologies (AWT) is the international water treatment association representing over 500 companies that specialize in applying water treatments for industrial and commercial cooling and heating systems.

 The AWT works daily to support our members and provide them with the tools they need to succeed and grow their careers and their businesses — training, certification, networking, and regulatory and public awareness programs.

Since it was founded in 1985, the Association of Water Technologies (AWT) has focused on helping members succeed in the water treatment industry. We supply over 550 company members with the tools and skills they need to provide their clients with the highest quality service — helping them extend equipment life, maximize energy efficiency, and reduce downtime.
